History of York by Banks: THOMAS CANNEY He was called "of the County & Towne of Yorke" in 1670 (Deed ii, 110), but he only a transient resident. He was of Piscataqua 1640 and later of Dover...Page 326: Joseph Kanney listed as a Private in Arthur Bragdon's company in the expedition to Norridgewock.
